"All that I really know about the outside world is relayed to me through my electrical connections." ~ Bomb #20 Distracted by lights, hyphenated by marriage, I am trained in all aspects of video production and during my diverse career have taken on a number of roles; graphic designer, sound recordist, camera operator, animator, director, and even actor. I have edited on Avid Media Composer and Xpress since 1997, as well as Final Cut Pro as a freelance editor from 2006. Working predominantly in the world of corporate video, I have created videos for internal and external use for a variety… more of production companies and a wide range of end clients. Until 2006, I had spent eight years as chief editor at Quadrillion where my work covered every subject and style imaginable. Along side my corporate work, I like to undertake independent productions such as directing and cutting music videos. August 2008 saw the premier of my work on the film Duke Vin and the Birth of Ska which was nominated for Best Documentary at the St Kilda Film Festival 2009. As well as editing and producing videos, I very much enjoy viewing the work of others. In November 2008, I created and curated the event, Lab Partner: the screening of a collection of music based short films at the Ultimate Picture Palace, Oxford, and in November 2009 curated visuals for the Audioscope music festival. less
